1. Select the text to be formatted

2. Click the HOME tab and then click the Font dialog button in the Font group to open the Font dialog box.

3. Make sure the Font Tab is selected, and make settings according to the parameters below.

Font Tab is selected

Latin text font (Font type options)

Font Style (to set the text style)

Size (to set the text size)

Font Color (to color text)

Underline Style (to underline)

Effects (to set text effects) which include:

  • Strikethrough – gives text a center line effect
Strikethrough effects
  • Double Strikethrough – gives the effect of two center lines on the text.
Double Strikethrough effects
  • Superscript – gives a small writing effect at the top
  • Subscript – gives a small writing effect at the bottom
  • Small Caps – gives the effect of capital letters with the size of lower case letters.
  • All Caps – gives the effect of writing capital letters at normal size.
  • Equalize Character height – gives the effect of writing with the same character height for both upper and lower case letters.

4. Select the Character Spacing Tab to adjust the spacing between characters as previously explained above.

5. Click OK to end.
